MGE Winter Training Series

The Second Annual MGE Winter Training Series is a series of winter training rides that take place in Middle Georgia during December, January and February with one ride at the end of November. These Events take place every Saturday . All rides in December will be 2-2.5  hours (or less in cases of inclement weather) and they will go up in time as the winter progresses and go longer than 4 hours.

These rides are not designed to drop riders. Rides are ridden at a STEADY TEMPO, not too fast, not too slow. These rides are designed to be smooth and steady. Our rides will start out averaging 17 to 18mp and will pick up throughout the winter. Maps will be available on the website for every ride, a week prior to schedule. Print one and keep it with you during the entire ride. Each ride will have an established ride leader that the is appointed ahead of time. Please ride safely and obey all rules of the road.

We ride double or single file depending on road and ride conditions. Obey all rules of the road. (Red lights, stop signs, etc.) USE COMMON SENSE.  Stay alert at all times.
